Heartland Harmonizers Chorus

Up

Omaha Prime

Formed in August of 2006, ‘Omaha Prime’ consists of four members of the Omaha Heartland Harmonizers chorus. Singing for local functions and doing the National Anthem at the INS ceremony once a week, this foursome decided to get serious.

Troy Johnson (bass), a 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force, works as a financial advisor. He, his wife Jo, and daughters Nicole and Michelle live in La Vista, Nebraska. Jo works as a teacher in Papillion. Nicole is attending the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Michelle attends high school in Papillion.

Dave House (baritone) and wife Sandy live in Elkhorn, NE. Their three children have spread out around the globe, with the oldest daughter Erin and her husband Eric living in Tennessee. Son Brian is currently in Pittsburgh, PA after a 5 year stint in the United States Marine Corps. Youngest daughter Jordan and husband Tim live in Kearney, NE (they have not gone very far away...yet...). Tim is a manager for Applebee's, and Jordan is a senior at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Dave is a software consultant for Bass & Associates, and Sandy works for Senior Market Sales as an insurance licensing coordinator.

Paul Kelly (Lead) and his wife Debbie live in Papillion, NE with their two youngest children, both in High School. The two oldest boys are married and live in St. Peters, MO. Paul retired from the US Army in 2002 and currently works for L-3Com in support of US Strategic Command, Offutt AFB. Debbie, a dancer and choreographer, teaches in the Omaha Public School System. After 30 years of singing classical music and performing in community theaters all over the world, Paul decided to take up Barbershopping. Performing with three great singers has been his dream since High School and he couldn’t be more pleased to be singing with Omaha Prime.

Tom Westman (tenor) and wife Julie live in Omaha with their sons Max, Alan, Glenn and daughter Candace and their  dogs. Tom is self-employed as a Systems Analyst in the Automotive Industry and Julie manages Tully’s Kennels. When Tom is not singing, he and Julie breed, show and course purebred Saluki’s.

‘Omaha Prime’ hopes you are entertained by our quartet, as that is our only goal.  We look forward to the opportunity to say hello to many of you in person after the performance.
